In this stage, we will address your needs and wants. Our first meeting will aim at understanding your experiences, goals, motivations, and how your personality traits have influenced your current levels of successes and failures. To assess your mental skills, questionnaires and/or a computer program may be used to further understand your strengths and weakness.
As you seek to increase your mental toughness, we know that increasing your body awareness is a key tool to manage nervous system arousal. Stress is felt in the body; it is that tightness in the belly, the pressure in your arms and legs, or the loss of concentration that will inevitably lead to under performing. Building upon an education based in performance and body awareness will help us understand current personality traits, which will create a foundation from which you will get to know yourself differently.
